How to replace the rear side door hinge on 2008 Cadillac CTS?

Start the replacement of the rear side Door Hinge by opening both rear and front doors and providing door support. Make note of the hinge position on the vehicle body before you uninstall both the hinge to body bolts along with the hinge to door bolts. Place the pillar side of the hinge on the marks from removal then install the hinge to the pillar. Fasten the bolts through their respective holes before tightening them to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Before securing the hinges position on the door, install the bolts while tightening both supporting bolts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Once removing the door support you should adjust the door until the striker matches properly to protect the door latch and striker components. You should apply body color paint to the hinge and bolts after fixing any paint damage.
