The first step to replace the rear side Door Hinge demands opening both rear and front doors before supporting the door in place. Anytime mark the hinge position on the body surface before you remove the bolts which connect the hinge to body parts and the bolts which hold the hinge to the door. The pillar side of the hinge needs alignment to the removal marks before securing the hinge to the pillar. Apply the bolts to their places then torque them to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Place the hinge against the door segment before installing the bolts while tightening them to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Review the door alignment when the door support has been removed to prevent damaging the door striker or latch while ensuring proper alignment. Body color paint should be used to fix any paint damages on the hinge or its bolts.
