  A: Start by setting the parking brake and exhaust the vacuum supply by pressing the Brake Pedal three times until it becomes solid. Separate the electrical wires connected to the dod sensor and active booster before removing the vacuum hose from the check valve and taking out the master cylinder nuts while maintaining the connection between brake pipes and the master cylinder. Secure the master cylinder out of the way using mechanics wire before you eliminate the Brake Booster pushrod retainer bolt and both the pushrod retainer and stoplamp switch . Disconnect the pushrod from its Brake Pedal fastening and take out the Brake Booster through its mounting nuts while discarding the gasket. Set the new Brake Booster gasket in place then position the power vacuum Brake Booster with help during installation. Begin by tightening both right-upper and Brake Booster nuts to 33 n.m (24 lb ft). Thread the Brake Booster pushrod into the Brake Pedal pivot hole while adding the stoplamp switch, Brake Booster pushrod retainer, and bolt. Tighten the bolt sequentially to 10 n.m (89 lb in).
