How to replace the negative battery cable (LH2 (LHD) with Top Post) on 2008 Cadillac STS?

To replace the negative Battery Cable (LH2 (LHD) with top post), unhook the Battery Cable's negative terminal. Then, unplug the i/p harness electrical connector from the battery current sensor and take off the cable retaining clip from the stud on the shock tower. Next, pull out the bolt which fastened the negative Battery Cable to the shock tower and then the fuel injector sight shield. Remove the negative Battery Cable from the engine block by first removing the bolt securing it to the engine block, which can be done after disconnecting the cable retaining clips from the engine bracket. For installation, locate the negative Battery Cable and plug it to the engine, bolt it down to the engine block, tighten it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Fasten the cable retaining clips to the engine bracket, then screw in the bolt anchoring the negative Battery Cable to the shock tower, where you will tighten it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). The cable retaining clip to the stud on the shock tower and the i/p harness electrical connector to the battery current sensor. Finally, reinstall the sight shield of the fuel injectors and connect the negative Battery Cable.
