How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2008 Cadillac STS?

The Brake Pedal Position Sensor replacement starts by taking out the front panel insulator on the driver's side of the instrument panel. Slide off the bolt which holds the brake pedal position switch to the brake panel bracket before taking out the switch. Plug the electrical connector into the switch and fasten the brake panel position switch to its mounting stud. Use bolt to attach the brake panel position switch to its bracket and space it 9 N.m (80 lb in). Put back the driver side I/P insulator closeout panel before you reset the brake pedal position sensor measurements.
