How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2009 Cadillac STS?

Before performing Brake Pedal Position Sensor replacement you must detach the driver side instrument panel insulator closeout panel. First disconnect the bolt that holds the brake pedal position switch to the bracket. Remove the switch afterwards. All you need is to join the electrical connector with the switch before attaching the brake panel position switch at its stud. Fix the bolt to the brake panel bracket and position switch at 9 Nm (80 lb in). Put back the driver side I/P insulator closeout panel while resetting the brake pedal position sensor baseline.
