How to replace the windshield wiper motor on 2009 Cadillac STS?

To replace for the windshield wiper motor, first remove the windshield wiper's transmission. Then, remove the drive links on the wiper motor crank arm and the wiper motor (deactivate it with the J 39232 Wiper Linkage Separator). More importantly, remove the 3 screws that attach the wiper motor to the wiper motor module and then remove the wiper motor. For installation, fit the wiper motor onto the assembly of wiper motor module with screws and tighten them to 10 Nm (89 lb in). Mount the drive links on the wiper motor crank arm with the help of the J 39529 (Wiper Linkage Installer) and last of all replace the windshield wiper transmission. Once successful in installing them, drive the car to be certain that the wipers work properly.
