How to replace the rear brake backing plate on 2008 Chevrolet Aveo?

To replace the rear Brake Backing Plate, lift the vehicle and adequately support it, after which, remove brake shoe components, complete parking brake plus retainer. Then take off the nuts that help the Wheel Hub assembly and the backing plate, then disconnect the Brake Line from it and plug the hole to avoid losing or contaminating the fluid, and then also take off the Wheel Cylinder assembly. Then remove the Wheel Hub assembly and, if you have an antilock brake system (ABS), unplug the cable to the Wheel Speed Sensor before breaking the backing plate away from the gasket. For installation, fit the backing plate with a new gasket over the Wheel Hub and then install the complete Wheel Hub/backing plate in the rear axle plate, attaching the nuts and connecting the Wheel Speed Sensor if necessary, tightening the brake Wheel Hub/backing plate-to rear axle nuts to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Mount the brake Wheel Cylinder assembly to the back plate link the Brake Line and tighten it to 16 n.m (12 lb ft), after that mount the brake components and the Parking Brake Cable with the retainer, by linking in of the cable and mounting to the brake shoe lever. Finally, bleed the brakes and let the vehicle down.
