How to replace the rear brake backing plate on 2009 Chevrolet Aveo?

The initial step to replacing a rear Brake Backing Plate requires a secure vehicle raise alongside appropriate support installations. First separate all brake shoe items from the parking brake along with its retainer. To start your work disconnect the Brake Line while plugging the opening to stop fluid loss or contamination. After that remove the nuts that hold the Wheel Hub assembly to the backing plate. Erase both the Wheel Cylinder assembly and Wheel Hub assembly from the vehicle. Disassembly of abs systems requires separation of the backing plate from its surrounding gasket. You must also disconnect the cable connecting wheel speed sensors to backing plates. During installation position the backing plate with a new gasket onto the Wheel Hub while making sure the abs hub maintains its correct position. Place the entire Wheel Hub/backing plate assembly into the rear axle plate followed by reattaching the Wheel Speed Sensor, then torque brake Wheel Hub/backing plate-to-rear axle nuts to 28 nm (21 lb ft). Mount the brake Wheel Cylinder assembly to the backing plate before you secure the Brake Line with 16 nm (12 lb ft) torque. Reassemble brake components before fixing the Parking Brake Cable retainer onto the brake shoe lever. Bleeding of the brakes follows before lowering the vehicle down.
