How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

To replace the Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor, disconnect the SIR system capability. Second, disconnect the grille and unfasten the fasteners holding the front discriminating sensors near the radiator support. Carefully pull it out and place it in a way that it can be accessible to obtain the electrical connector according to the point in the radiator support. Pull the connector-position assurance (CPA) from the connector of the sensor, and disconnect the sensor electrical connector just when you remove the sensor from the vehicle. For installation, clean any dirt, grease, or impurities from the mounting surface, position the sensor close to the radiator support and connect the sensor electrical connection. Mount the CPA to the sensor electrical connector and mount the sensor assembly to the radiator support. Install the 2 fasteners of the discriminating sensor assembly to the radiator support, tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Lastly, install the grille and activate the SIR system.
