    A: Webtool high maintenance requires a vehicle lift and stable safety stands before beginning the inner Tie Rod replacement. Extract the wheel assembly along with its tire from the vehicle's transmission. Following boot removal perform a visual inspection of the inner Tie Rod to check for corrosion and contamination. The procedure may continue when no signs of damage are detected. First separate the Rack And Pinion boot from the rest of the system. Adjustment of the rack bearing preload should wait until after inner Tie Rod removal to prevent damage to the assembly. Put the shock dampener off the inner Tie Rod before placing it onto the rack. Use a wrench on the flats of the inner Tie Rod housing to turn it counterclockwise which enables separation from the rack assembly. The rack threads and inner Tie Rod need cleaning before applying loctite(R). The Rack And Pinion receive the treated inner Tie Rod by threading it through its threads which were treated with loctite(R) 262 or equivalent. Crank the j 34028 inner Tie Rod wrench (J 34028) while using a torque wrench to apply 100 n.m (74 lb ft) of torque into the inner Tie Rod while holding the rack steady. Place the shock dampener over the inner Tie Rod housing until it stops naturally at the housing. Next, fit the Rack And Pinion boot followed by installation of the tire wheel assembly. After removing safety equipment, lower the car while performing wheel alignment tests.
