How to replace the rear suspension sway bar link on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

A vehicle should first be raised and supported for Sway Bar Link replacement in the rear suspension. Take off both the wheel and tire from the rear part of the vehicle. Remove the sway bar clamp bolts by utilizing a torx(R) bit that secures the ball shaft until you can remove the nut. Following the removal of the Sway Bar Link by stopping its turning motion with a wrench, you can disconnect it from the vehicle. To put in the Sway Bar Link, insert it into the lower Control Arm and use a wrench to stop turning before tightening the lower Control Arm nut to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). The Sway Bar Link needs to be installed onto the sway bar nut before achieving a torque setting of 50 n.m (37 lbft). Reinstall the rear tire and wheel before allowing the vehicle to lower. Tighten the sway bar clamp bolts to 70 n.m (52 lb ft) in the process.
