How to replace the front brake disc on 2008 Chevrolet Express 3500?

Users must receive the parts j 41013 disc resurfacing kit (J 41013) and j 42450-a wheel hub resurfacing kit (J 42450-A) to complete the operation. Start the work by lifting the vehicle and taking off the wheel and tire piece. To work on dual wheel vehicles, position a drift tool through the brake caliper while inserting it into the Brake Disc vanes to stop the disc from spinning. Once the disc stops turning, take note of the connection between the front wheel hub extension and hub then detach the hub extension bolts. Gently hit the hub extension edges with the rubber mallet to unlock it when needed. Put a marker on the relationship between disc and hub after you fit the c-clamp over the brake caliper to push its pistons inside. Then take out the caliper using mechanic wire supports before uninstalling both parts. Wrench the disc push nuts off then release the disc from hub by applying oil penetrant to the corrosion spots followed by two m10 x 1.5 bolts. Use j 42450-a to clean the hub surface and j 41013 for the inner Brake Disc. Clean both parts before positioning the disc properly on its original alignment and fastening it. When you remove the disc through the jack screw technique always inspect the hub flange for damage. Clean the mounting bolt threads before adding threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) then torque the bolts to their specified values. Put back the front wheel hub extension on dual wheel vehicles and tighten nuts to 130 n.m. Afterwards, install the tire and wheel assembly and lower the vehicle before using the brake pedal several times to reach a firm pedal position. Add new brake fluid to the master cylinder reservoir space.
