    Q:
How to replace the rear brake disc on a with dual rear wheels on Chevrolet Express 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by putting the vehicle on jacks and then taking off the tire and wheel from a vehicle with dual rear wheels to access its Brake Disc. Keep guide pins attached to brake caliper unless it requires their removal. First remove the brake caliper bracket bolt to remove the entire assembly and position it with heavy mechanics wire. Take out the rear Axle Shaft and hub keeping the bearings and cups in place unless you need to change them. Mark how the hub sits with the disc before removing the brake hub and disc assembly from the rear axle. Put the hub and disc assembly on a hydraulic press to push off the wheel studs afterward you split the hub away from the Brake Disc. Hook up a hydraulic press to eliminate all dirt and rust from the connection area between the rear axle hub and Brake Disc. Set the hub on the Brake Disc and align its matchmarks before driving the wheel studs by hydraulic press through the hub and disc assembly. Clean both the brake caliper bracket bolt holes and the rear axle thread locations to remove all threadlocker remainders. Apply threadlocker gm p/n 89021297 (Canadian P/N 10953488) in a 2/3 thread length coating on the brake caliper bracket bolt until it reaches maximum strength in about 10 minutes. Position the brake caliper and bracket assembly at the back axle and bolt in the brake caliper bracket bolts. Fasten each bolt to 300nm (221 lb ft) while keeping it in position. Reinstall the entire wheel assembly piece.
