How to replace the canister purge valves on 2008 Chevrolet Malibu?

Firstly, remove the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the evap canister purge solenoid, remove evap canister purge valve tube quick connect fitting from purge solenoid valve, and finally, remove the chassis evap pipe quick connect fitting from purge solenoid valve to replace it. Take away the bolt from the evap canister purge solenoid valve bracket and remove the evap canister purge solenoid valve and bracket. Take the use of a small flat-bladed tool to obtain the tab that is fixing the valve to the bracket. Check the evap canister purge solenoid valve ports to carbon release; if loose carbon is detected, change the evap canister and other required components to remove the carbon particles. For installation,#mount the evap canister purge solenoid valve on the bracket until the tab# engages the valve, mogging the tab slightly to fit, if required. Mount the assembly to the Cylinder Head and install the evap canister purge solenoid valve bracket bolt with a torque of 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Connect the chassis evap pipe quick connect fitting to the purge solenoid valve, then connect the evap canister purge valve tube quick connect fitting to the purge solenoid valve and finally you reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the evap canister purge solenoid.
