  A: To replace the engine front cover, get rid of the Water Pump, crankshaft balancer, and Oil Pan. Next remove the engine shield bolts and shield and remove the engine wire harness clip at the front cover. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector, the ckp sensor bolt and sensor, and discard the ckp sensor o-ring seal.
