How to replace the intermediate steering shaft on 2008 Chevrolet Uplander?

In order to remove the intermediate steering shaft, secure the steering column and make the front wheels straight. Unbolt the steering column and loosen the steering column and detach the intermediate steering shaft to the power steering gear and steering column. Install in the reverse order, making sure that they are tightened properly.
