For earless clamps type, go directly to closing the boot clamp with CH 48894 - Drive Axle Seal Clamp Pliers. Next is to move the CV joint in circular motion to spread the lubrication inside the housing, after that wipe the outer side of the CV joint, then install the outer CV joint and boot and the wheel drive shaft.
