How to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub on 2009 Buick Lucerne?

To start the bearing and hub replacement work you must lift and stabilize the vehicle. Strongly pull off these parts in this sequence: tire, wheel, and brake rotor. Detach the Wheel Bearing/hub electrical connections and unscrew the Wheel Bearing/hub bolts before you remove the Wheel Bearing/hub lower unit and brake shield from the Control Arm leg. Wash the Control Arm surface and hub bores before putting in the bearing and hub parts. Fit the brake shield and Wheel Bearing hub into the Control Arm space while tightening Wheel Bearing hub bolts to 68 nm (50 lb ft). Set the wheel electrical connection first before adding the brake rotor and finished by seating the tire and wheel unit onto the lowered vehicle.
