  A: You must lift and support the vehicle before taking off the tire and wheel to reach the front Wheel Bearing and hub. Put dirt-free drive axle threads into place and stop rotor movement with a drift punch or screwdriver before starting work. Take off the drive axle nut followed by the brake rotor. Now disconnect the abs front wheel speed sensor connector and unclip it from the dust shield. Take out both Wheel Bearing/hub retaining bolts as a set. Do not separate using either the Wheel Bearing or hub. Afterwards, remove the Wheel Bearing/hub unit together with its dust shield from the Steering Knuckle. Apply the j 28733-b front hub spindle remover tool to split the hub and bearing from the drive axle. Also clean rust and foreign particles from the knuckle's mounting surface, bore opening, and chamber before installing the new bearing.
