How to replace the canister purge valves on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

Start the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve replacement by turning off the ignition and removing the fuel injector sight shield. Start by removing the purge line from the purge valve solenoid then disconnect the electrical connector of the purge valve solenoid. You must disconnect the purge line from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid before you pull out the solenoid from its bracket. Start installation by fastening the purge valve solenoid to its bracket before putting back the purge line from both sides and completing the electrical connection. Finish by reconnecting the fuel injector sight shield.
