How to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub assembly on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

Place your vehicle on support stands afterward remove both tire and wheel components to start the rear Wheel Bearing hub assembly replacement task. After raising and supporting the vehicle remove the rear speed sensor and disconnect the wheel drive shaft from the Wheel Bearing assembly. When you extract the Wheel Bearing mounting bolts stay away from touching the CV Boot on the outer rim. Moving the outer CV Joint ahead ensures enough room to remove its mounting bolts. You should take out the Wheel Bearing/hub assembly from the knuckle using the j 45859 tool which you mounted and unmounted from the assembly earlier. To install the assembly place it in the knuckle and thread the wheel drive axle into position before securing the mounting bolts by hand. Fasten the Wheel Bearing/hub bolts at 140 nm (103 lb ft), add the rear brake rotor afterwards and install the wheel shaft nut. Install the tire first before putting back the Wheel Speed Sensor and returning the wheel to its place.
