How to replace the lower control arm on an AWD on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

To replace the lower Control Arm on an awd vehicle, first, the vehicle is to be lifted and supported, then the tire and wheel are to be removed. Next, remove the air deflector and the stabilizer shaft link from the low Control Arm. Remove Wheel Speed Sensor; ensure the ball stud doesn't rotate while disassembling or reassembling with hand tools. After that, disassemble the lower ball joint nut and apply the j 43631 (Ball Joint Separator) to loosen the ball joint stud from the Steering Knuckle. Depress the stud of the lower Control Arm and remove the yoke. Jig the power steering gear up for clearance as required. Loosen retaining bolts on the power steering gear, loosen lower Control Arm to cradle nuts & bolts and remove lower Control Arm . For installation, line up the lower Control Arm and install the cradle bolts and tighten them while the lower Control Arm is at normal vehicle ride height. Install the cradle nuts and tighten to 135 nm (96 lb ft) and secure the power steering gear retaining bolts. Mount the shock module yoke to the lower Control Arm nut while tightening the lower Control Arm ball joint nut to 40 nm (130 lb ft) and a further rotation by 120 degrees. Replace the Wheel Speed Sensor, the stabilizer shaft link to the lower Control Arm, the air deflector, and the tire and wheel. Lastly, lower the vehicle and front end alignment.
