How to replace the water pump pulley on 2009 Cadillac DTS?

Start the Water Pump Pulley replacement process by releasing the tensioner of the outer Drive Belt and removing the belt from its drive pulley. You must remove the Camshaft end cap first followed by the j 38825 (Power Steering and Water Pump Pulley Remover) to extract the water pump drive pulley from the intake Camshaft. The j 38823 Water Pump Pulley installer positions the water pump drive pulley onto the intake Camshaft before using the tool to achieve the correct depth from Camshaft bottoming out. Secure the Camshaft end cap with 2 nm (18 lb in) torque before proceeding. When complete the water pump Drive Belt installation will finalize the procedure.
