How to replace the canister purge valves on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

Before starting work on the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve turn the ignition OFF. The next step is to detach the purge line from the purge valve solenoid and then separate the electrical connector of the purge valve solenoid. Then detach the purge line which runs from the manifold to the purge valve solenoid before you take the solenoid away from its bracket. Begin installation by attaching the purge valve solenoid to its bracket while reattaching the purge line from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid as well as the electrical connector of the purge valve solenoid. The last step involves connecting the purge line to the purge valve solenoid.
