How to replace the harmonic balancer on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

Replace the crankshaft balancer by taking out the A/C Compressor Drive Belt followed by the power steering pump belt together with the generator Drive Belt and water pump belt. The first step for crankshaft balancer replacement includes both supporting the vehicle under height and the removal of the transmission bell housing inspection hole cover. Before removing the crankshaft balancer install the flywheel holding tool (EN-48018) as depicted in the image and remove the front air deflector. Start by installing the new crankshaft balancer then proceed to put back the front air deflector. Installation of the transmission bell housing inspection hole cover should follow removal of the flywheel holding tool (EN-48018). Reinstall both the generator alongside the water pump Drive Belt followed by the A/C Compressor and power steering pump Drive Belt series.
