First disconnect the cooler from its power steering inlet and outlet hose assembly then uninstall the bolts before removing the cooler from the vehicle. Position the new power steering cooler into its designated place following fastener caution procedures while tightening bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb in). Take the inlet/outlet hose assembly and clean the power steering fluid while removing drain pans from the vehicle. Reinstall the radiator upper grille together with the front air deflector when possible and complete the power steering fluid filling process followed by bleeding.
