To replace the input speed sensor, initially detach the unit's transmission fluid pan and filter. Remove the electrical wiring harness connector from the input speed sensor. Then, the bolt of the input speed sensor should be taken off, and then the input speed sensor. Check the input speed sensor for ba shed or missing magnet, damaged housing, bent or missing electrical terminals and metal contaminate that is stuck to the magnet. For installation, reinstall the input speed sensor, taking into consideration fastener caution guidelines. Determine the input speed sensor bolt cloth and screw tightness as 11 nm (97 lb in) and reattach electrical wiring harness connector to the input speed sensor. Lastly, reinstall the transmission fluid pan and filter.
