How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) for Bank 2 on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

Engineering operations for replacing the Bank 2 Knock Sensor (KS) must begin with turning OFF the ignition followed by suspending the vehicle vertically. Use a heat shield removal tool to access the oil level indicator tube before disconnecting the KS electrical connector and removing the KS bolt to extract the KS. After placing the new KS in its position follow fastener caution rules. Complete the KS installation process by tightening the bolt to 23 Nm (17 lb ft) then restore the electrical connector and reposition the wiring harness heat shield on the oil level indicator tube before finishing support of the vehicle.
