How to replace the canister purge valves on 2009 Cadillac STS?

First, turn off the ignition and take out the fuel injector sight shield (LP1, LY7 or LLT). Following that, separate the purge line from the purge valve solenoid, and afterwards, take off the electrical connector from the solenoid. Subsequently, separate the purge line from the manifold end of the purge valve solenoid and carefully take the solenoid away from the bracket. To install, first put the purge valve solenoid onto the bracket, then connect the purge line from the manifold side and the electrical connector after that. Last, you should place the fuel injector sight shield (LP1, LY7 or LLT) back in position.
