How to replace the steering knuckle on an AWD on 2009 Cadillac STS?

To replace the Steering Knuckle when using an awd vehicle, push up and support the vehicle, take off the tire and wheel. Next, remove the wheel bearing/hub, the outer tie rod from the Steering Knuckle. Before you remove the brake hose bracket retaining bolts and the upper control arm ball stud from the Steering Knuckle, retaining nut. Then, remove the lower control arm ball stud from the Steering Knuckle and steer knuckle itself. For installation, mount the Steering Knuckle onto the lower control arm ball stud and screw it tight with a new nut. Attach the upper control arm ball stud to the Steering Knuckle and tighten in a new retaining nut. Transfer the outer tie rod to the Steering Knuckle, then tighten the brake hose bracket retaining bolts to 14nm (10 lbft). All done, install the wheel bearing/hub which is then followed by tire which is attached to the wheel then finally the vehicle is dropped.
