How to replace the LH secondary camshaft intermediate timing chain on 2009 Cadillac STS?

Begin by taking off the engine front cover. Now remove the right bank Timing Chain Tensioner, Timing Chain guide and the chain itself. Next, take out the primary camshaft tensioner, the upper primary Timing Chain Guide and release the primary Timing Chain. After this, take out the right bank intermediate camshaft Timing Chain idler, followed by the left bank Timing Chain Guide, shoe and tensioner and later the left bank intermediate camshaft Timing Chain idler and Timing Chain. Thoroughly clean and inspect all camshaft timing drive components while replacing damaged or worn parts. During installation, begin by placing the left bank camshaft Timing Chain in the secondary gear, then the left bank intermediate Timing Chain idler and subsequently the left Timing Chain Guide, shoe and tensioner. Secure the right bank camshaft intermediate Timing Chain idler. After that, put in place the primary camshaft Timing Chain, upper camshaft guide and tensioner as well. Attach the right bank Timing Chain, guide, shoe and tensioner, then place back the engine front cover as a final step.
