How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

In order to replace the Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor, disable the SIR system. Take out the fact mirror retaining screws and the fact mirror of the vehicle. For installation, install the new sensor into a vehicle and adhere to fastener precautions to not damage the vehicle. Tighten the retaining bolts of the inflatable restraint front end sensor to 9 Nm (80 lb in). Finally, enable the SIR system.
