How to replace the front side inner door handle cable on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

In order to change the front side door inside handle cable, relocate seat back and take off the trim plugs of the door release. Unscrew the battery, door sill, B-Pillar trim and get to the door latch. Take the latch off, unattach the cable and insert the new cable. Install the latch and trim again and check the functionality of the latch.
