Start by lifting and securing the vehicle before you begin working on the Trailing Arm replacement. Start by removing the tire and wheel followed by extraction of the park brake cable bolt from both the Trailing Arm and the frame. Begin by removing the Trailing Arm bracket to body bolts followed by the Trailing Arm Bushing to bracket nut and bolt. The Trailing Arm becomes accessible after removing its bolts from the knuckle because this step requires complete removal of the Trailing Arm from the vehicle. Place the Trailing Arm correctly on the vehicle before tightening the knuckle bolts to 110 nm(81 lb ft). Affix the Trailing Arm bracket to the Trailing Arm after installing the Trailing Arm Bushing to bracket nut and bolt with minimal torque. Secure the Trailing Arm bracket along with its bushing nut and bolt by applying torque at 160 nm (118 lb ft).
