How to replace the exhaust camshaft and lash adjuster on 2009 Chevrolet HHR?

In order to change the exhaust camshaft and valve lifters, loosen the camshaft position exhaust actuator and camshaft bearing cap bolts. Hydraulic valve lash adjusters and rocker arms are to be kept in order. When reinstalling the parts, grease them, and make sure to have them in place. Install the actuator by screwing bearing cap bolts.
