How to replace the starter motor on 2009 Chevrolet HHR?

In order to change the starter motor, deride the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle. Pull off the engine harness connector, starter solenoid terminal nut and starter bolts to remove starter. Put in the new starter, reconnect the terminals and lower the vehicle then reconnect the negative battery cable.
