How to replace the LH Motor and Transmission Mount on 2009 Chevrolet Impala?

To change the left side mount, first elevate and support vehicle. Remove the left tire and wheel assembly and left engine splash shield. Position a transmission jack under the transaxle and remove the upper nuts from the transaxle mount on the transaxle bracket. Carefully lift up the transaxle assembly and disengage the lower nuts from the frame and then extract the transaxle mount from the frame. For the installation, place the new transaxle mount on the frame and tighten the lower nuts to 63 nm (46 lb ft). Lower the transaxle so that the mount studs are in the transaxle bracket, then tighten the upper nuts, tighten them to 47 nm (35 lb ft). Rmv trns missn jck, reinstall lft engine splash shield, reinstall lftwhe+lre assem, and lastly, lower the veichl.
