To replace the trailing arm, lift and support the car first. Take off the bolt and nut connecting the trailing arm to the knuckle , then the nut and bolt connecting the trailing arm to the trailing arm bracket , then remove the trailing arm from the vehicle. To install, place the trailing arm on the trailing arm bracket, make sure to install the bolt to and expanding nut to , making sure to tighten to 105 Nm (77 lb ft). Next, connect the trailing arm to the knuckle and insert the bolt and nut (tighten nut to 240 Nm, 177 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
