How to replace the trailing arm on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

Initially, lift and support the vehicle in order to replace the trailing arm. Take bolt and nut out of the trailing arm and the knuckle ; then nut and bolt of the trailing arm and the trailing arm bracket. After separating these parts, take off the trailing arm from the vehicle. In installation, attach the trailing arm directly to the trailing arm bracket making sure you comply with the fastener notice. Next, bolt and nut to fix trailing arm on trailing arm bracket, nut and tighten them on 105 N.m (77 lb ft). Next, attach the trailing arm to the knuckle and bolt it using the bolt and nut, tightening the nut up to 240 N.m (177 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
