The replacement process for the trailing arm begins with.vehicle lift and stabilization. Start by removing the bolt and nut that holds the trailing arm to the knuckle . Then remove the nut and bolt from the trailing arm to trailing arm bracket connection and pull the trailing arm from the vehicle. Place the trailing arm between the trailing arm bracket before inserting the bolt followed by the nut where tightening must reach 105 N.m (77 lb ft). To install the trailing arm secure it to the knuckle through bolt and nut connections while tightening the nut to 240 N.m (177 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
