How to replace the rear side Door Latch Assembly on 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The first task to replace the rear side door latch requires you to completely close the window. The first step is to take off both door trim panel and water deflector. Lock rods that hold the inner door handle must be disconnected from the latch and the outside handle operation rod requires disconnection from its handle. The door latch removal requires three fasteners with part number 11570329 to be removed first before disconnecting electrical connectors from the latch assembly and finally removing the latch unit. The following step involves taking out the actuator component that belongs to the latch which carries the Part Number 13502025. To install the actuator users must first mount it onto the latch then put the latch back on the door before reconnecting its electrical connectors. Secure the latch by tightening 3 fasteners (part number: 11570329) until they reach 10 Nm (89 lb in). Install the outside handle lock rod to the outside handle while the inside door handle lock rod goes to the latch. Replace the door trim panel and water deflector as the last installation step.
