    A: In order to replace the Park/Neutral Position Switch on a 4L80-E/4L85-E transmission, use parking brake and put it in neutral. Take off the control lever and cut off the electrical connections. Disassemble the switch and oil the manual shaft (when necessary). Install the new switch, fasten it and re-connect the electrical-connectors. Install the control lever once again and test the switch.
