How to replace the Dipstick Tube (LF1) on 2010 Cadillac CTS?

The first step to replace oil level indicator tube (LF1) requires removal of the fuel injector sight shield. Start by removing the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt and then extract the oil level indicator along with its tube through the lower crankcase hole. The O-ring which serves the oil level indicator tube requires replacement along with its removal. When installing refer to the following steps: Install a NEW O-ring on the oil level indicator tube before putting the tube through the lower crankcase hole. Insert the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt into position and fasten it to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
