Raising the vehicle and using supports you should dismount the front air deflector shield. You should unfasten the washer solvent container fasteners before placing the container to one side to reach the ABSCM. The first step involves thoroughly cleaning the ABSCM area after which you should unlock the ABSCM electrical connector through tab retention while gently moving the locking lever frontwards. Extract the ABSCM screws to split the ABSCM unit from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV). The sealing surfaces of both the BPMV and ABSCM require cleaning before mounting the ABSCM onto the BPMV through the use of ABSCM screws which should be tightened to 3 Nm (26 lb in) according to the specified sequence. Fasten the electrical ABSCM connector before moving the washer solvent container and securing its fasteners. After reinstalling the front air deflector shield along with lowering the vehicle proceed to program a new ABSCM if you are using one.
