How to replace the front brake calipers (J56) on 2010 Cadillac STS?

Before starting the brake caliper (J56) replacement task check the brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level. Drain fluid to the mid point when it exceeds those marks. Lift the car while having it secured. Take off both wheel and tire before proceeding. A plastic flat-bladed trim tool is the only proper tool to push caliper pistons into their bores through the rotor and inboard Brake Pad before repeating the process for the outboard pad. Pull out the brake hose to caliper bolt and brake hose together. Drop the two copper brake gaskets at the same time and use plugging material to block fluid spills. Loosen the brake caliper bolts and remove the brake caliper when installed on the wheel knuckle. Clean bolt threads and knuckle mounting holes using denatured alcohol and threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) before applying two-thirds of threaded length on bolts for ten minutes cure time. Use silicone brake lubricant on the brake caliper pin and add the bolts. After placing the caliper, complete assembly by tightening to 130 nm (96 lb ft). Install new copper brake hose gaskets within the brake caliper opening and attach the brake hose to the fitting bolt. Tighten the bolt to 34 nm (25 lb ft). Place the engine off and start bleeding the hydraulic brake system before you apply the Brake Pedal halfway and then release it slowly until you feel the Brake Pedal steady. After finishing the installation put the tire and wheel back and return the vehicle to its original position.
