How to properly service and replace the Differential Cover on 2010 Cadillac STS?

To install the new differential carrier cover and seal on the left side, take out the carrier cover bolts on the rear of the differential, and lift the carrier cover. Loose the carrier cover and take out the O-ring seal. Install new O-ring, apply oil, and tighten the cover bolts in a criss cross pattern and then reinstall the rear differential.
