First remove the oil level indicator from its tube then extract the oil level indicator tube bolt. Start by taking off the engine splash shield followed by lowering the vehicle. The oil level indicator tube needs to be gently pulled through the Exhaust Manifold while removing it. The oil level indicator tube seal replacement requires discarding of the previous seal when done separately from other tube parts. First reposition both the engine splash shield and the installed tube and level indicator and then you can put the oil level indicator tube back into its place. Reselect the front compartment sight shield and then lower the vehicle for the final installation steps.
