Start by turning off the ignition before replacing the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch. You should remove the sight shield from the front compartment when necessary. First disconnect the electrical connector of the oil pressure sensor followed by sensor removal. During installation apply a torque of 20 Nm (15 lb ft) to the oil pressure sensor. Relocating the oil pressure sensor electrical connector should be followed by reinstalling the front compartment sight shield if required.
