How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2010 Cadillac STS?

You must disable the sir system before you can change the turn signal multifunction switch. Uncover the Steering Column trim first. First push out the retaining screws on the multifunction switch and detach electrical wires before removing the switch unit. Start installation by connecting all electronic terminals of the multifunction switch and positioning the switch on the Steering Column. Secure the retaining screws onto the new switch with torque at 7 nm (62 lb in). After installing the trim caps put the sir system back online.
